James H. Usry, Jr.
Managing Partner, Advanced Team Concepts

Jim is a founding partner of Advanced Team Concepts. He has over 30 years experience in the healthcare field. His broad range of assignments include sales management, marketing, managed care account management, and training for Merck & Co, Inc. He has attended multiple training programs on the management of conflict in heatlhcare and has personally managed conflict with employee and management teams. Jim brings a passion to assisting teams in improving performance through the development of effective interpersonal skills. He is certified to deliver conflict management programs through the Center for Conflict Dynamics at Eckerd College and is listed as a rule 31 civil mediator in Tennessee and has completed family mediation crossover training.

Jim has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and an MBA from Louisiana State University.

Greg J. Neal

Greg has thirty years experience as an industry partner in large pharma working with physicians, provider networks, managed care organizations and teaching institutions. Greg's background includes experience in Senior Management, Market Development and Sales. He managed sales groups ranging up to 200 reports with responsibility for $200 million in revenue. Greg has additional experience in establishing a headquarters department that integrated Marketing and Sales strategy, communication and tactics for seven therapeutic areas.

Greg has received multiple awards for leadership as well as performance. Currently, Greg is the Managing Partner of a Consulting Group working with healthcare organizations in the areas of Launch Strategy and Tactical pull through, Commercialization, Sales Force Design and Efficiencies and Hiring and Selection. Greg is known for his corporate leadership, innovation and collaboration, as well as an in depth understanding of compliance issues facing the healthcare industry.

Greg's bachelor degree is in Marketing and Management from Southern Illinois University. He has also completed Corporate Executive Programs at Harvard, Cornell, University of Southern California, University of North Carolina, University of Chicago and the American Management Association.

Gerald B. Carter

Jerry Carter has spent over 25 years in healthcare. His areas of expertise include management training, cirriculum development, and management of a public sector vaccine sales team for Merck & Co, Inc. Jerry is an accomplished coach and speaker. He is widely recognized for his ability to help teams recognize and resolve conflict.

Through interactions with physicians, office staff, administrators, and public health officials, Jerry has obtained a wealth of knowledge valuable in helping healthcare providers manage and resolve conflct. Currently, Jerry is an international consultant to Merck & Co, Inc. where he trains newly appointed managers throughout the world.

Jerry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Dramatics Arts from Brigham Young University. He is a board member on the Salt Lake City Valley Board of Health, providing leadership in maintaining community health standards.
